1974
Mr. Seow Kim Kheng, father of Mr Seow Hock Cheng ( " Mr Seow " ) and Mr. Seow Boon Wah, Mr. Seow’s brother, established Aik Chin Hin Machinery Co in Singapore.
1985
Mr. Seow, our executive director joined Aik Chin Hin Machinery Co as one of the owners.
1991
Mr. Seow became the sole owner of Aik Chin Hin Machinery Co.
1993
We became the dealer of Makita brand of hardware in Singapore. Makita is an international brand of professional grade power tools based in Japan.
2008
We incorporated Aik Chin Hin Trading Hardware Pte Ltd, which currently operates one of our six outlets and one of our 16 warehouses.
2009
We incorporated Aik Chin Hin Trading Hardware Pte Ltd, which currently operates one of our six outlets.
2010
We incorporated Aik Chin Hin Trading & Machinery. We became the distributor of Balma brand of hardware and light machinery in Singapore. Balma is an Italy-based brand of a wide variety of air compressors.
2011
We established our own branded hardware and light machinery products under our brand name of “AIKO”.
2012
We became the distributor of Nilfisk brand of light machinery in Singapore. Nilfisk is an international brand of professional cleaning equipment based in Denmark with over 100 years of history.
2013
We incorporated Aik Chin Hin Supply Pte Ltd, which currently operates one of our six outlets.
2016
We further expanded our own branded products by launching our second brand “AIRSTRONG”.
2017
We started to sell our products through online platforms with a view to capture a wider customer base and to expand our sales network.
We became the distributor of Hitachi brand of hardware and light machinery in Singapore. Hitachi is an international brand based in Japan offering a wide variety of products including
power tools and air compressors.
We incorporated Aik Chin Hin Industrial Supply Pte Ltd.
